Random sacramental poem

Random poem of mine I found in my many scattered notes about the Sacraments/Means of Grace. 🙂 I won’t hold my breath that this will be helpful, but we can encourage each other to tinker, too, can’t we?

Baptism is both water and Word;

Forgiving and giving the promises heard.

The Supper of Jesus gives Body and Blood,

Bread and Wine, eaten for life from above.

Forgiveness of sins, the pastor declares

In the stead of Lord Jesus, who makes us God’s heirs.

God’s Word is the light and the power within,

While God’s Word Incarnate has conquered our sin!
