I’m going to park this article here so I can periodically reread it. I recommend you do the same. 🙂 The thesis is “Writing equals passion plus thought,” and I think that is a breath of fresh air compared to much of the pressure we writers may put on ourselves.
The blog, “Meet, Write, and Salutary,” encourages Lutherans to write and cultivates community among readers and writers. Additional webpages on this site list Lutheran writers, Lutheran resources, Lutheran craftsmen, etc., for the good of the Lutheran reading and writing community. (All resurrection- and Real Presence-believing Lutherans can be represented.)
Words are a tremendous gift from God. May how we handle them demonstrate our reverence for God’s Word, our love for our neighbor, and the ongoing beauty and flexibility within creation! And, may God’s Word always prevail over our own!
