Christian Fiction

I meant to post this ages ago: Publisher’s Weekly wrote a piece titled, “Christian Fiction Keeps its Allure.”

The information in the article itself is certainly good to know. Times are tough and it’s not exactly getting easier to be picked up by a publisher for your Christian fiction. Still, there’s an audience. Definitely an audience!

Also, hidden in the link is this hopeful news about CPH. Now, I don’t want to rub salt into anyone’s wounds. Just because CPH is open to additional fiction manuscripts from both adult and YA authors doesn’t make it easier to be accepted.

Still, let’s hope together. Let’s hope for the best: the best opportunities to write, to publish, to gain readers, and the best opportunities for publishing houses to develop new big names who can help expand the market for everyone else!

Again, as of April 11th, CPH is open to Christian fiction manuscripts! And, note the other publishers, too. We all have to do what we can to get published, whether or not its through a denominational publisher.

Wishing you all well!
