Interested in attending the annual Faith & Writing Workshop, hosted by Concordia Seminary? This year the dates are July 25-27, 2017, and registration goes until July 17th. Below is a link to an article, “(The) Writing Life” by one of its co-hosts Rev. Travis Scholl, along with some general information about the workshop logistics.
Here is some summarizing logistic (logistical?) information from its webpage:
The workshop will be led by Rev. Travis Scholl, managing editor of Concordia Journal, and Peter Mead, Christian editor, publisher and writer. It begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday and ends at 3 p.m. Thursday. The cost is $175 per person with a maximum of 15 participants. All meals are on your own. On campus housing is available ($30 per person shared room; $45 per married couple or non-shared room). The registration deadline is July 17, 2017. Click here to register.
I hadn’t realized the workshop has been going on for ten years! That’s pretty good! I’ll admit I haven’t attended, but I would love to get involved in writing workshops and conferences once our children are a bit older.
If you hear of any other workshops or conferences I should share, let me know.
