Baughman Giveaway

Ok. I’ve closed the Bo Giertz Giveaway and have sent out an email to those who entered. (Let me know if that failed somehow.) Now, on to a Sarah Baughman Giveaway! This Lutheran author has graciously offered a free copy of  A Flame in the Darknessa solid and satisfying book set in Wittenberg during the Reformation. I reviewed it here. I really enjoyed it!

A single copy of A Flame in the Darkness will go to one commenter below. Only those a USA or USA military address address are eligible. Let’s run this for a week or two, and I’ll randomly select the winner with a handy-dandy plugin. Fair enough?

Fiction Evangelism

Imagine this: handing out A Flame in the Darkness to new members or visitors to your congregation. Or, have a book club at your church! Personally, I’d enjoy something churchy—smells, bells and the Prayers—or take over the youth room! (Why do the youth get a room again? Comfort reserved for young? Lame.)

I bet this book in particular could be a great book to kick it off, followed by Katie Schuermann‘s series or anything else. (Um. If you look elsewhere for book suggestions, avoid smut of course and discuss how much “language” is acceptable. Just throwing that out there.) Why not use a book club to round up a little extra community involvement? It could be great and stir up conversation and Christian support.

Meanwhile, read and write, folks! We’re out here waiting! 😉

PS. Don’t forget to comment below to enter the Baughman Giveaway! Spread the word!
