The Traitor

Have you read Ray Keating‘s latest novel, The Traitor, yet? I blogged about it when it came out in December, and now I offer a short review.

The Traitor: A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel Review

Yet another hop, skip, and jump into the exciting life of Pastor Stephen Grant, former CIA agent, now Lutheran pastor who happens to be in all the right places at all the right times!

This was an enjoyable read. A bit shorter than most in the series. I might call it a novella, just because it didn’t get into as many of the other characters as some do. Still, timely. Gives you something to think about. How would you want folks to react to such a situation?

Two violent scenes or so, but, as always, balanced by some sort of element that it’s a pleasure to think about. Do you know what I mean? Like how one book was in part about Comic Con, another baseball? This one is sort of Snowden vs. a European pastoral retreat at a chocolate-making monastery! So it’ll be sure to have you googling “chocolate” and “monastery” in no time. 🙂
