The information is all live on Katie Schuermann‘s website now. This is a FREE conference. You just need to find a place to lay your head, breakfasts, and dinners.
There will be a Lutheran book fair, reading groups, speakers I’m personally quite excited about, and enough time for both presentations and social time! I’ll try to keep my gushing generally muted, but everything looks stellar and quite dreamy to me!
Professional? Hobbyist? Come!
There’s not even a fee for vendors, so I’ve already signed up for that. What will I vend? Ha ha haa, still deciding. I’m thinking LutheranHomeschool.com & Cranach Independent Press, if that’s a significant thing by then. Maybe I’ll sell books? My own and my dad’s? Maybe I’ll just be visible standing by a table. 🙂
Anyway, now is the time to think, think, think and then sign up! There are so many of you that I’d love to meet in person!

If you can, spread the message that the Lutheran Writers’ Conference registration is now open! This will be such a blessing! Focus, fellowship, friendship . . . and gathering around the Word (Matins every morning) and words!
Seriously, the only thing that could make this better is the ability to hide at night with a good book to recoup from the day. Oh, wait . . . we CAN! This is why people plan conferences and not robots. Oh, the happy days ahead!
One other note: there’s even an education panel, a presentation on rhetoric, and a presentation on teaching children to write!!
