Post-Christian: Contemporary Thought and Culture

It’s finally the day! I’ve been waiting for a long time to happily announce my dad’s latest and greatest new release: Post-Christian: A Guide to Contemporary Thought and Culture!

Ok. I don’t mean to say this eclipses his Spirituality of the Cross, but I think this book is going to be a big deal and a game changer for many.

In short, he’d been thinking about updating Postmodern Times for a long time and finally decided he needed to address the topic of Christianity and “post-christian” culture in an entirely new book.

I’m three chapters in. It’s great! Well organized, well written, and insightful, it just sort of leads you into clarity on the diversity of assumptions affected by modernism, postmodernism, and various significant influencers. But even as your head fills up with this wealth of knowledge, you’re bolstered in the faith, seeing how liberating Christianity is!

This is sure to be a thought-provoking book, treasured by many, and I am thankful to God that Gene Veith a) has been so prolific throughout his career, and b) found time to research and write this book in particular!

Yay! Spread the word!
