Seasons of Hope: Our Life in Snowflake Falls

Today I review Seasons of Hope: Our Life in Snowflake Falls by Lutheran author Aretta Gordish. I’ve reviewed a related book by her here (set in the same charming town but starring mostly a different cast of main characters) and I introduce her and her writing a bit here.

 Seasons of Hope Review

Sometimes authors get you involved with their characters only to leave you on a cliff-hanger so you buy the next book. Well, this may be part of a four-book series, but  Seasons of Hope may be the antidote you’re looking for! The plot follows several families for, hmm, fifteen or twenty years?

This is a full length novel that explores some of the delights and heartbreaks of growing up and small town life.  You’ll likely laugh. Probably cry. You will definitely wish these characters some peace, calm, and rest by the end!

If you like clean romance and things coming together, proceeding together, and staying together, then maybe this is a book for you. It stars children, grandparents, fresh chances, and a Lutheran pastor’s family. Also included is some military action and a released prisoner.
