Freely Given

There’s a new Lutheran podcast up and running: Freely Given by Lutheran authors Katie Koplin and Gretchen Ronnevik. It’s designed to highlight that the Gospel does more than convert: it sustains us in our Christian lives, too.

I’ve mentioned Katie Koplin here several times before. Gretchen Ronnevik is a blogger who has written for the Gospel Coalition. She also offers a free Gospel Mentoring course, so that’s good to know about. Rumor has it she also has a book coming out called Ragged, so I’ll try to keep you posted on that one.

Here’s their blurb:

In the vicious cycle of self-help, self-righteousness, and self-loathing, we become a slave to the pursuit of perfection. Through Christ’s own perfection, he has set us free. This is a podcast about the freedom that comes through dependence in Christ, and understanding the depth of his love.

Sounds good to me. 🙂

Sure seems like 1517 offers a lot of podcasts now! Freely Given brings the total up to 18!
