Titvs Classics

Here’s an awesome Lutheran find for you! A Lutheran has created several Latin inspired coloring books, and she is selling them under the brand Titvs Classics (Titus classics). 🙂

Titvs Classics has five coloring books now available (two specifically Christian!):

  • Latin in Church Coloring Book: An Introduction to Latin Vocabulary in Church (Such as baptismus, communio, and pastor)
  • Fruit of the Spirit Coloring Book: An Introduction to Latin Vocabulary and the Fruit of the Spirit
  • Roman Mythology Coloring Book: An Introduction to Roman Gods and Goddesses
  • Animals in Rome: A Latin Vocabulary Coloring Book and Primer

AND, rumor has it, she is close to releasing another book. Latin Medicine will include a little Greek in it, too. Yay, yay, yay!

Titvs Classics are all available on Amazon and Etsy. The two pertaining directly to Christianity are also available through Ad Crucem. Yay!

(Etsy also includes some printable excerpts, so that’s nice, too. I am totally trying to get her to be a vendor at LutheranHomeschool.com!)

Here is her website, which includes encouragements toward a classical education and the study of Latin.

Go here to subscribe to her newsletter, which offers a Latin word of the week, and welcome to my list of Lutheran shops!

Wow. Thanks be to God for all the good stuff Lutherans are developing!

Edited to add this PS: A friend of mine is offering, only for the cost of shipping, the following free Latin books. Let me know if you’re interested! 🙂

  • Jenkins, Thornton, and Anthony Pelzer Wagener. Latin and the Romans, Book One. Boston: Ginn and Company, 1941
  • Smith, M. L. Latin Lessons. Boston: Allyn and Bacon, 1913 (or possibly Norwood, Mass.: Norwood Press)
  • Ullman, B. L., and Norman E. Henry. Second Latin Book; Revised Edition. New York: The Macmillan Company, 1935. First edition published 1925
