For Love and Honor

My week of prewritten reviews continues! Today’s review is on For Love and Honor by Lutheran author Jody Hedlund, in her series, An Uncertain Choice

For Love and Honor Review

Another good book in the series! Probably my second favorite.

This story involves art and a second son trying to augment the hopeless dilemmas of the first. Lots of tension about whether it is honorable to marry for the sake of money. Also some superstition about skin marks as a sign of witchcraft.

I liked the characters, although the scenarios were pretty bleak for most of the book. Still well worth reading. By this point in the series, it was good to see the development of yet another fine suitor. Lady Sabine is also a strong character.
