I miss the days

I miss the days when I’d share ideas that I’d hope others would write. 🙂 Back in the days when I start this blog, I wanted to encourage you to write since I knew I didn’t have time to. But now I’m SO CLOSE to having time to! Ha ha haa

I have a project I’ve been working on, off and on again for the past two years or more. I’m getting a chance to sit down to it two or three times a week, for about an hour. It isn’t much, but it’s something. And it can add up!

The funny thing is that I keep starting over at the beginning, tweaking what I have, rather than sketching out the rest of my outline. That which I want to do, that I am not doing. I’d love to have  a complete Table of Content! Still. May God use what I manage.

Part of me thinks it would be easier if I just turned this blog into primarily a review blog. Then I’d have an excuse to just read. Ha ha haa What do you think? I like reviewing because it really does support you when you publish. I know how important feedback and reviews can be, and I’m happy to help provide that.

However. I cannot read a book a day and manage three to five reviews a week. Ha ha haaa

Sigh. I was so good about daily posts for so long.

Well. We’ll see what happens. You’re welcome to give me feedback or suggestions. But I’m going to be careful: I don’t want to blog at the expensive of my own writing. After all, I want to write books for my children, so I’d better write them while they’re still young enough to read them! And with learning music to accompany service every Sunday, I only have so much time. And energy. Sigh.

Anyway, I hope you wish me well. 🙂

I do wish you well Mary!! I am amazed you get so much writing done at all with your houseful to care for. I know God uses your writing so take whatever time you can to continue. Blessings!!

  2. May God bless your time, Mary! I love that you have such a strong call to write for your children–that is something they would carry through their whole lives. If one hour a week is all you have for that project, then just keep at it! One hour of writing is much more than zero. I love your blog, but if you need to skip it now and then to focus on your writing, I say go for it!

Doesn’t matter what you choose, I will be here cheering you on. You should use all your gift, just make sure you’re happy with your priorities and go for it. Priorities change. Over time you will find things free up and you get to use the gifts you missed using for a while.
