Admittedly I’m thinking about homeschool at least as much as writing as our Christmas break winds down. So, has anyone read the Gutsy Girls: Strong Christian Women Who Impacted the World series?
I have no idea about the writer or her religious affiliation. They’re roughly 32 pages and don’t appear to have much text on the page. Product details suggest the books are for grades 3-4 although I imagine I’d use them for younger than that.
Anyway, I like the description “gutsy.” 🙂 And, gutsy Christians can be good role models for the times ahead.
Let me know if you know anything about them or anything comparable for my kiddos. One problem with self-publishing is that it’s one less clue about the content and author. Shrug.
PS. In no way does this post endorse feminism or any other current proponents or ideologies I may know little about. I just want to raise faithful and brave children, and, perhaps I’ve mentioned this before, I think that courage comes from outside oneself rather than some innate strength within.
