Even if you don’t recognize the name Mollie Hemingway, you’ve likely read or heard her. Proud Lutherans certain share her news clips on Facebook. 🙂 She’s a conservative columnist, political commentator, and a senior editor at The Federalist. And this Lutheran author has a new book coming out July 9th: Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court, co-written with Carrie Severino.
These are two big names on a big topic. I’m hesitant to add my own words. So . . .
Instead, I’ll comment this way: I’m thankful to God that there are faithful reporters and journalists in the United States and around the world. I’m thankful to God that Christians are practicing sincere discipline in pursuit of the truth, and I’m thankful to God that Christians are continuing to think, discern, and address every topic under the sun.
No matter what your day job is, please do your best. 🙂 It helps the world to be a better place.
One of the things I most admire about Mollie is her ability to critique not only arguments, but cultural issues and media’s responses. Justice on Trial is sure to be an instructive, far seeing book.
PS. Oklahoma is expecting nasty weather for the next 24-hours. You’ll excuse me if I have to keep my computer turned off. Though, hopefully, I won’t. 🙂
