Aaaaaaaaaand . . .

The twins both got sick yesterday. A double-whammy of four-year old tummy problems. But you know what? The day wasn’t entirely lost. Even days such as those have their blessings and high points.

We don’t always feel that way. We can’t always recognize it. But that doesn’t make it any less true. Some of the kids put together a pajama dance party before we settled in for a quiet movie/dinner. 🙂 It was very sweet. Turned out to be a fairly heartwarming day.

I haven’t mentioned it yet, but, while at the Good Shepherd Institute, I was able to talk with Kelly Schumacher, who had such beautiful work with her! My husband and I were even able to purchase a framed giclee of her Apocalypse Altarpiece. We’re both really looking forward to having it hung—our first significant piece of art purchased as a couple!

There is much goodness and beauty in the world. We have so much to be thankful for. Thanks be to God.
