Found in Manhattan

I love this. A few Novembers ago, a teen sat down and wrote a novel in a month for NaNoWriMo. Well, she’s gotten it professionally edited and published! Congratulations to Naomi Truwe on the release of her first novel, Found in Manhattan!

Really, this is her second book, since Naomi Truwe helped illustrate my Trinity for Tots book. 😀

Here’s the blurb for  Found in Manhattan:

“Ezra Romeo,” the letter had said. “We regret to inform you that your parent’s, Marrian and Dominic Romeo, have passed away in a horrific car wreck.” It has been a year since Ezra has received the news of his parents tragic passing, and he has been living a low life on the bustling streets of Manhattan terribly alone. His life is suddenly changed when he meets a girl named Lizzie at the library who introduces him to her friend Riley. Finally, Ezra has someone in the city who won’t just take him for some street rat. Will Ezra be able to make a new life in the city even with the help of Lizzie, Riley, and an old friend? Or will he be forever just some kid on the streets of Manhattan?

This is 186-pages of Teen/YA fiction by a teen/young adult! I love it.

PS. Happy Fat Tuesday. Time has flown! May your Lent be blessed.
