Advent Wreath for Building and Playing

I am not prepared to start collecting Advent resources for the year, but there is a truly adorably awesome product I have got to share! Do you know about Wicking Vicar? An LCMS pastor’s wife started a company with her own design of a sportier, wicking clerical. Welp, she’s just put out a 16-piece Advent wreath for young families that is AWESOME.

Weekly Hymns for the Church Year

I just wrapped up a little project, putting together a list of weekly hymns for the church year. Although I love having a hymn of the week through Around the Word, which we use for daily devotions, I’m a homeschooler. Apparently I wanted something a little more vast to supplement our home hymnody: an organized and scheduled tool to help maximize hymn-learning & -appreciation!

2021 Summer Reading

Ok, who’s starting lists for 2021 Summer Reading? CPH is! Their CPH Reads program will run from June 1st through August 13, 2021. Plus, I found a neat list supplied by Dr. Geoffrey Boyle (He’s a Lutheran pastor in Wichita, KS.).

Forgotten Lattes

Here’s a neat and time-appropriate find! A Lutheran blogger who focuses on C-section recovery support for moms! It’s called Forgotten Lattes. Know anyone who could use this?

I know that when I had my twins via an emergency C-section, I was WAY unprepared. Even had complications following it because I just wasn’t taking care of myself. So, tuck this website away somewhere in case you or someone you know can benefit from it. 🙂

Jenn, keep up the great work!
