I am so frustrated to be spending Holy Week at home, but I may just drown my sorrows in poetry. I’ve already mentioned my idea of collecting Lutheran pandemic poetry, possibly even putting it into an ebook—no physical delivery required—and now I’ve created another Facebook group: Lutheran Pandemic Poetry.

Thus far I’m looking up various poetic forms and trying my hand at them. I almost got out of bed a second time once I got haikus flowing out of my pen!
Modern forms sure are different than older ones, though. No wonder students rarely learn scansion!
