Do you remember the Family Lectionary I blogged about last year? I blogged about it here and reviewed it here. Well, Jessie Bell has done it again with Family Lectionary 2023! And this time she is offering versions for One-Year AND Three-Year lectionaries!
Here’s her description:
The Family Lectionary is your day-by-day guide through the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod’s Sunday readings (Lectionary). It also includes many of the major feasts, festivals, and commemorations found in the Lutheran Service Book. There is a weekly hymn, memory verse, and Catechism reading. Most weeks, you will read through the following Sunday’s reading (New Testament, Old Testament, and Epistle), do a family activity, and enjoy a few theological discussions as a family.Purchasing the Family Lectionary will also give you access to some printables like coloring pages, weekly bookmarks, and memory cards.
If you have young children, this is really great. And, if you’re curious, the Family Lectionary 2023 has all the the Bible readings written out in full. No prep needed unless you go ahead and print out the extras ahead of time. (I just did that en masse and tucked them into a folder next to the spiral bound book on my bookshelf.)
Go to Concordia Collective to pre-order. Make sure you select the lectionary you want. Preorders will be shipped out starting on December 1st, 2022, and the calendar & lessons start January first. (The website also has nice preview pictures, so check ’em out, pressing the little dots.)
Yay!
