I love connections. Themes. Hints and foreshadows. The difficulty, however, is that in religious writing how do you know what is really a connection and not a figment of an over-eager imagination?
I have connections, but no answers. No sign of divine approval.
Of course, I sort of figure signs of divine approval should be met with serious skepticism anyway. So a girl can’t win.
But I think I’ve written another hymn and perhaps it’s my best one yet! Or worst! Lots of neat connections!
Also, isn’t it funny that when I wonder if I’ve hit upon brilliance, I also wonder if actually it’s madness? Sigh.
