One of many celebratory books coming out this month releases today: The Reformation by Rev. Dr. Cameron A. MacKenzie. I think very highly of Dr. MacKenzie, who teaches at Concordia Theological Seminary, and it looks to be a beautiful, coffee-table worthy book, chock full of tidbits, sidebars, images, and maps.

In the classroom, the good professor could always make history come alive. He also deftly presented theological issues that sometimes are handled too clumsily with too many stereotypes or over-generalizations.
In other words, I can recommend him without any hesitation.
Meanwhile, in more personal non-news, my own current project frustrates me. lol Draft time. Draft after draft after draft. You know, after I though I was almost finished!! But, when we’re frustrated, let’s celebrate the good work of others! Like Rev. Dr. Cameron MacKenzie, who I’ve enjoyed as professor, lecturer, and preacher.
