Julie Stiegemeyer is, by all accounts, someone I should have met. Maybe I have. She even looks familiar! Do you ever feel that way? I think we even lived in the same city for a spell! Author Tax Deductions
Good morning! So, do you know about Author Media? I haven’t dug deeply into it, but they sent out a very handy email addressing tax deductions from the new Trump tax bill. And, I figure, part of encouraging writers is encouraging the more businessy aspects to it, much as Ray Keating would suggest! 🙂

Christmas Reading
This past weekend my husband, mother, and I worked on the church library. 🙂 We got to fill up two new, really nice (!) wooden shelves! Anyway, among the gems we ran across what appears to be a bunch of old Lutheran novels! Woo hoo! My Christmas reading may have just gotten hard core Lutheran! 😉 Below is a review of Mistletoe, a much newer Lutheran novella on this year’s Christmas reading list.
