Single Session
A good day to you. I’ve just started playing around with a single session Bible study. I’m liking it. A fellow deaconess asked about a particular topic to see what was available, and I thought, “Wow, that really should be—or become—available.”

Appreciation
I had a pleasant surprise today: appreciation. Yesterday I sent in a manuscript for a little project I did for LWML and today I got a phone call about it. The caller thanked me profusely for taking the time to do the project, despite other things going on in my house. Hear that, ladies and gentlemen? Some people DO care and appreciate the time we spend writing!

Episodes
Sometimes I live episodes in my life and think about how I would write them out. I’d intentionally highlight the humor sometimes or maybe throw in a poignant reminiscence every once in a while. Generally, I think it can be kind of a neat habit, although surely there are pros and cons to it.

Coffee with Cinnamon
My husband came back from a distant meeting one day and kept talking about the coffee there. Odd. Especially because he isn’t a fancy coffee drinker—neither of us are. Still, I emailed a friend to find out the secret and it’s simply to make your coffee with cinnamon.
